AI In The D.
AI in the D introduces Detroit students to the technology shaping business, work and everyday life.
The program combines hands-on AI education, collaborative challenges and entrepreneurial thinking. On July 23, 2025, more than 100 Detroit high school students gathered at Fellowship Chapel for a full-day immersion. Participants worked with tools including ChatGPT and Gemini, developed AI-powered business ideas and joined a judged pitch competition. The program provided laptops and awarded $10,000 in prizes.
Reported results: 100% developed an original AI-driven business concept; 94% reported increased confidence using AI; 83% expressed interest in STEM or entrepreneurship careers.
